Built in 1828 as a tank to hold gas used to fuel Boston's lanterns, this distinctive cylindrical, red-brick building was vacant for 60 years. The Best Western Roundhouse Suites, Boston, Mass., is located in Boston's South End. This historic building was transformed into a hotel in 2001.
