The Hilton Checkers is a European-style boutique hotel located in downtown Los Angeles, Calif., in the city's business and financial district. The hotel, whose historic building dates back to the 1920s, stands eight blocks from Staples Center, the Nokia Theater and the Los Angeles Convention Center. Griffith Observatory, Mann's Chinese Theatre and Hollywood are positioned less than seven miles from this hotel.
